Jess is a powerful and authentic guest speaker who uses her lived experiences to inspire change, awareness, and action.
Having directed a documentary on homelessness in Gippsland, Jess developed a strong voice in advocating for those experiencing housing insecurity. Her work in this space led to her being selected to speak during Homelessness Week alongside leaders including the CEO of Housing All Australians and the Quantum Housing Manager, as well as speaking at high-profile panel events addressing Australia’s housing crisis.
In the same week, Jess was invited to speak alongside Danny O’Brien, Richard Riordan, and Wayne Farnham, contributing to discussions around homelessness and standing beside the iconic Origami House installation.
Jess is also a regular speaker at schools, community events, and fundraising initiatives such as Make-A-Wish Foundation events, where she connects deeply with audiences of all ages particularly young people by sharing her personal journey of resilience after leaving school in Year 10.
Finding her voice on stage at Girls With Hammers, where she received standing ovations for its honesty, strength, and impact.
